Tori Time is a writer, director, and photographer who sees people, moments, and the bigger picture in a cinematic way. Her sensitive nature inspires her style of storytelling which is vulnerable and takes people through the dark to get to the other side. Her mission is to instill hope and ignite change on a global level by building bridges through human connection. Tori’s feature film WIZARD was a semi finalist for the 2023 Academy Nicholl Fellowship.
Tori is from Dallas, Texas and received her BFA in acting at The University of Southern California. She continues her education studying writing with Jack Grapes.
After assisting renowned photographers and filmmakers Sam-Taylor Johnson and Gia Coppola, Tori emerged as a sought after photographer. She’s shot an impressive portfolio including Gal Gadot, Hailey Bieber, Adele, Lena Waithe, Soko, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Migos, and more. Her work has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Sunset Magazine, BET, Levi’s, Billboard, Apple, People, and The Hollywood Reporter.
Tori wrote, directed, and starred in the short film, Girl on the Side, made with some of the top female filmmakers working today. The film was selected to be a founding film on the streaming platform Paus and has been featured on Girlgaze, We The Women Collective, A Brighter Lens and was a finalist for the Sundance New Voices Lab.
Most recently, Tori directed digital spots for Gal Gadot, shot portraits for the Levi’s voting campaign featuring Hailey Bieber, Nico Hiraga, and Quannah Chasinghorse, and her poetry was published in On The Bus.
When Tori’s not on set you can find her writing poetry, creating stories, and crying alone at movie theater.
